  • Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing (#325)

    Limestone University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing beginning January 2025 on our main campus in Gaffney, SC. The full-time nursing faculty member is responsible for the development, teaching, and evaluation of courses to achieve SLOs; advising and guiding students; working with the director and other faculty to build appropriate nursing experiences for a successful Limestone University BSN program and maintenance of accreditation.     Qualifications

    MSN degree, terminal degree (PhD, DNP) preferred; experience in mental health preferred; degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing and in education or administration; a current, active, unencumbered SC nursing license; minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care; two years clinical experience in the area of assigned clinical responsibilities; current American Heart Association BLS for health care providers CPR certification; excellent oral and written communication skills; and highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to consistently multi-task.

  • Adjunct Professor of Chemistry (#909)

    Limestone University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Professor of Chemistry.

    The Department of Science & Mathematics seeks an Adjunct Professor for in-person and/or online Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses including Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, and/or Organic Chemistry.  This is a part-time, term contract position.  Candidates are required to have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university.  An earned doctorate degree in appropriate field of science, university teaching experiences, experience with hybrid and/or online course delivery, and proficiency in using the Canvas LMS are preferred but not required.

  • Assistant or Associate Professor of Health Science (#288)

    Limestone University invites applications for the 9-month tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Health Science starting August 2024. In support of the mission for Limestone University and the Health Science Program, the primary responsibilities of this position will include teaching undergraduate courses across all platforms in the areas of healthcare ethics, research methods and epidemiology, public health, microbiology for health sciences, health education program planning and evaluation, and capstone courses; and the development of new courses and pathways to enhance the Health Science degree options. This faculty member will work collegially with other department directors and faculty members; will be responsible for program assessment data and reporting; and will serve as academic advisor to health science students. 

    Qualifications: 

    An earned doctorate in health science or related field. Specifically, interested in individuals who can teach the courses identified in the position summary. Previous college or university teaching experience face-to-face and in an online environment is preferred.

  • Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology (#306)

    Limestone University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology on our main campus in Gaffney, SC. Position will begin in August 2024 (review of applications will begin January 15, 2024). Candidates with a Ph.D. in Psychology, teaching experience, and skills with engaging undergraduate students in the science of psychology are encouraged to apply. ABD candidates will also be considered. The position requires the teaching of four courses per semester.  In addition to teaching Introduction to Psychology and Research Methods & Statistics, candidates should have the interest and ability to teach some of the following courses: Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Health Psychology, Psychology of Personality, and/or counseling courses.  There may also be opportunities for the successful candidate to teach special topics courses in their area of expertise.   • Assistant or Associate Professor of Biology (#390)

    Limestone University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Biology on our main campus in Gaffney, SC.  The primary teaching responsibilities are expected to include in-person lecture & lab sections of courses including the second semester of a two-semester introductory biology series, focusing on organisms, ecology, & evolution; as well as upper-level courses in Ecology, Zoology, Botany; and other courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.     The sciences at Limestone University are undergoing a revitalization that includes the acquisition of new scientific instruments as well as the addition of new facilities and renovation of current facilities. While teaching is the primary responsibility of Limestone faculty, candidates with the expertise to engage in scholarly activity with undergraduates using some or all of the following would benefit: gel electrophoresis, NMR spectroscopy, nucleic acid purification, library preparation and operation of a next-generation sequencer, PCR and qRT-PCR, microplate assays for absorbance/fluorescence/luminescence, eukaryotic cell culture, Drosophila melanogaster husbandry & research, and microbiological culture.

    Limestone University invites applications for the Adjunct Pool for Education starting January 2023. The primary responsibilities of the people who occupy this position will include teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses related to Elementary Education, Early Childhood, and/or Literacy. Staffing for undergraduate courses is on the main campus in Gaffney, South Carolina and graduate courses for the M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership are online. Staff/Administration Positions

  • Assistant Athletics Director for External Operations/Saints Club Director (#514)

    Limestone University invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Athletics Director for External Operations /Saints Club Director.

    Position Summary: Responsible for day-to-day program implementation, coordination and management of all communications and solicitations to external constituent groups on behalf of the athletics department, including corporate sponsors, “Saints Club” members, student-athlete alumni, major donors, fans, and supporters of the athletics program. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Works with the University’s Advancement Office on all endeavors, including proposal generation, major gift solicitations and capital campaign management. 
    • Athletics point-of-contact for capital campaigns and is responsible for the logistical planning of programs and events designed to elevate the campaign’s visibility with the community, alumni, donors, and supporters in relation to athletics. 
    • Designs and executes all membership initiatives, membership services, and hospitality events for the “Limestone Saints Club” to obtain new donors and encourage renewals of annual booster club gifts.
    • Develops and maintains corporate partnerships and fulfills sponsorship agreements.
    • Manages and coordinates athletics-specific external events including annual Golf Tournament, Athletics Awards Banquet, Senior Awards, Hall of Fame, and athletics-specific campaign events. 
    • Supervises budget oversight for the Saints Club as well as any sport oversight assignments.
    • Works with the Coordinator of Ticket Operations/Game Day Events to help with marketing and price points for ticketing. 
    • Point-of contact for on-campus vending relationships with contracted merchants (food trucks, game day concessions, etc.). 
    • Plans specific game day events to help bolster our fan engagement and game day environment. (Military Appreciation Day, Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day, etc.) 
    • Sport Oversight of Spirit Program, which consists of cheer, dance, marching band, and mascot as they relate to game day experience. 
    • Attends and oversees various game day events. 

    Competencies: Thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with rules, regulations and policies of the NCAA, Conference and Limestone University; Ability to establish a good rapport and effective working relationship with student-athletes, administration, faculty, staff, alumni, and the general public; Proven administrative, organizational and recruiting skills.

This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. In the event of an emergency, he/she may be called to support necessary tasks in association with that emergency.     The Limestone University Physical Plant is seeking a Full Time Groundskeeper to join the grounds team. This position reports directly to the Grounds Manager. The Groundskeeper will landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand, power tools or equipment. Work typically consists of a variety of tasks. Examples include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, sweeping of parking lots and sidewalks. This is full time, 40 hours/week, some overtime. This is an outdoor position.

    Qualifications:

    Possess some knowledge of landscaping work as well as equipment.

    Ability to perform the physical demands of the position.  

    Work independently as well as in a team.

    General Responsibilities:  

    • Pick up trash.
    • Mows lawns and trims grass around walks, flower beds and walls.

    The Limestone University Physical Plant is seeking a Full Time General Maintenance Worker/HVAC who will fix and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings. This individual will paint, repair flooring, and work on plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning and heating systems. In the event of an emergency, he/she may be called to support necessary tasks in association with that emergency.     Limestone University, located in Gaffney, SC, invites applications for the full time, 12-month position of Counselor within the Counseling Services department.

    Position Summary: 

    The Sibs Collins Counseling Center provides accessible, equitable, inclusive short-term mental health counseling for the Limestone community with diverse identities and a broad spectrum of emotional, psychological, developmental, social, and academic concerns. Counselors support students in developing insight, personal growth, and resiliency skills to aid in the achievement of their personal, educational, and career goals. Counselors respond to students and campus-wide crises and serve on an on-call rotation. As a member of the Counseling Services team, this position reports to the Director of Counseling Services and is a part of the Student Success Division. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

    • Provide counseling services to enrolled students:
      • Conduct intake, triage, and crisis appointments
      • Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation
      • Conduct small-group and campus-wide educational outreach and consultation.
      • Serve as a liaison to various university areas and constituencies as assigned.
      • Maintain records and ensure the confidentiality of private health information in keeping with professional ethics and best practices.
    • Provide both in-person and telehealth counseling services.
    • Provide daytime crisis intervention, emergency, and on-call services.
    • Coordinate care between Counseling Services and other campus departments and community resources, meeting the needs of students and ensuring continuity of care.
    • Consult with the Director of Counseling Services and other university staff, faculty, and administration as needed.

    Education and Experience: 

    Required qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Counselor Education, Sports Psychology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience
    • Licensed or licensure eligible in the state of South Carolina (if not yet licensed, licensure must be achieved within a year of the date of employment). 

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience and skills in facilitating culturally sensitive and inclusive outreach and educational programming.
    • Demonstrated experience working with college-age populations (undergraduate through graduate/professional level), preferably with athletes, veterans, first-generation students, or non-traditional students.
