The opportunities include: gleaning knowledge from day care directors, elementary school teachers, community program leaders, special education professionals, and off campus early childhood related field trips! People: As a result of the low student to faculty ratio, the program is shaped by a "people-centered" environment that ensures students are provided with personable instruction and professional mentoring to achieve the goal of graduating and being ready on day one...as highly qualified directors! Twice per year in the spring and the fall, the child care management students and professors come together for a meet and greet to spend quality time together. The goal is to learn more about each other, leverage connections, enjoy a meal together, encourage one another, and stay committed to the call of teaching! Placements: The Child Care Management program includes a capstone experience of a 12 week field placement! During this time candidates get to live out the love they have to manage a daycare center with the professional guidance of experienced directors and professors!
