Limestone Names New Director for Athletic Development and Marketing

Eric Stahl

Eric Stahl has been hired as Director for Athletic Development and Marketing at Limestone College.

In his duties, Stahl is responsible for the direction and development of the Saints Club (the college's athletic booster club) and for fund raising and marketing in support of the College's intercollegiate athletics program.

A native of Columbia, S.C., Stahl graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2006 with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management. He was also a walk-on for the Gamecocks football team.

Before joining Limestone, Stahl worked as an Account Executive for Corporate Sponsorships with ISP Sports for that company's University of South Carolina and University of Miami sports properties. With the Hurricanes, Stahl was responsible for generating over $407,000 in sponsorships sales and coordinated all gameday promotion logistics. With the Gamecocks, Stahl generated sponsorships sales of $275,000 by specializing in in-venue marketing campaigns at all USC athletic venues. He also worked as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator for Action Sports Media and a Sales Representative for RainSoft Water Treatment in Columbia.

"We're excited about having Eric on the Limestone team," said Dr. Bill Baker, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Limestone. "I think when folks have a chance to meet him they will be extremely excited about the kind of person he is, the type of character he exhibits. His extensive promotional and marketing experience should serve us well here at Limestone."

Stahl succeeds Will Goode who left Limestone earlier this month for a position with Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
