Wind Ensemble Presents Fall Concert


The Limestone College Wind Ensemble will present its fall concert Monday, November 9 at 7;30 p.m. in Fullerton Auditorium. The performance will include Eric Whitacre's "Noisy Wheels of Joy," "Arabesque" by Samuel R. Hazo, John Phillip Sousa's "The Stars and Stripes Forever," and "Barnum and Bailey's Favorite" by Karl L. King.

The concert is free and open to the public. The ensemble features a wide range of instruments, including flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, and percussion. The 44-member ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Douglas Presley, Band Director and Coordinator of Music Education at Limestone.
