Limestone Alum Leads Spooky Halloween Journeys for Television Shows
Eric Lavender '77

In true Halloween spirit, Limestone College graduate and Gaffney native Eric Lavender will be featured in the Sunday, October 24  episode of A&E network's popular "Paranormal State" program at 9 p.m. and South Carolina Educational Television's "Carolina Stories: Ghosts and Legends III" which will be broadcast statewide October 28 at 9 p.m.

Lavender, who now resides in Charleston, graduated from Limestone in 1977 with a degree in psychology and works with Charleston Pirate Tours.

For "Paranormal State," Lavender led the show's team on a tour of Old City Jail, arguably the most haunted building in Charleston. He and the team will return to the jail in November for a Paranormal Research Society Field Trip, which will offer the public the opportunity to participate in numerous events with the "Paranormal State" cast.

Lavender served as a consultant for ETV during the taping of "Carolina Stories: Ghosts and Legends III" and is the featured storyteller for the Charleston segment of the program.
