Athletic Fields Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift (#591)

Job Overview- This is a first shift position; the position requires mowing athletic fields, weed eating, mowing landscape, trimming shrubbery; daily maintenance and repairs on field equipment; assisting in setup and breakdown of athletic events. 

Requirements- High School Graduate or equivalent.  A minimum of 2 years experience in field maintenance is preferred but not required. Applicant must communicate well with coaching staff and faculty.

Assistant Director for Media Relations (#590)

Job Overview-The successful candidate will serve as the primary media contact for multiple programs; produce media guides, game notes, news releases and feature stories; generate feature content, video and other unique coverage for GoLimestoneSaints.com, the official website of Limestone Athletics; respond to media requests; staff home and selected away events; supervise statistical crews and other event support personnel; assist facilitating Limestone’s social media outlets; compile statistics, research historical records for Limestone Athletics’ publications and assist the Media Relations staff with additional duties.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, high level of integrity and honesty. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, must be attentive to detail and accurate in record keeping and possess an ability to work with a diverse constituency including students, parents, coaches, faculty, staff administrators and outside contacts.

Job Overview-The successful candidate will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: recruiting, overseeing the academic progress of student-athletes, scouting and other duties as needed to continue the success of the program.  This person will work on various aspects of the game day experience as it relates to our fans and players.  This will include, but is not limited to, assist with the management of ticket sales, point of contact for on-site concessions for home games, and any other duties assigned.

Part-Time Assistant Cheerleading Coach

Limestone College, a Division II member of Conference Carolinas, invites applications for the part-time, 10-month position of Assistant Cheerleading Coach.

Job Overview: The successful candidate will assist the head cheerleading coach with all aspects of the Spirit Program as the assistant cheerleading coach. The duties include but are not limited to; organizing and leading team practices, instruction of cheer and proper stunting technique, instruction of tumbling technique, choreography of competition routines and game day material, recruiting student-athletes for both the cheerleading and dance teams, facilitating team member development, overseeing academic progress and enhancement of student-athletes, and other duties needed to continue the success of the program. As a part-time position this person is limited to no more than 29 hours per week and is not eligible for benefits.  

Requirements- A Bachelor’s degree is required along with a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Limestone College. Candidates must have previous successful coaching or instruction experience. AACCA Certification is desired. Experience as a collegiate cheerleader or a strong background in cheerleading/gymnastics is required. The selected candidate must be willing to consent to and pass with satisfactory results, an investigative consumer report.

Extended Campus Office Administrative Assistant

Limestone College invites applications for the position of Extended Campus Office Administrative Assistant, on the Main Campus in Gaffney, SC.  This position will report directly to the Dean for Extended Campus Programs, but will perform administrative/clerical duties for the Directors of the Extended Campus Programs, specifically the Director of Extended Campus Internet, Director of the Extended Campus Classroom, and the Director of Strategic Marketing.

The Administrative Assistant will answer and appropriately route incoming calls, files and records, manage office and inventory of office supply items, process requests for payment of invoices, reconciliation of staff credit card statements, and maintain tracking reports for all EC budget expenses. Assists the Directors in travel arrangements and expenses for all EC staff travel, including reservations for and maintenance of the EC vehicles.  Performs other duties as assigned by the EC Directors and the Dean.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.  Effective organizational skills as well as excellent communication skills are a must.  This person should be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.  Candidate should possess above average competency in written and spoken English.  The candidate must be competent in Microsoft Office and proficiency in specialized College software (e.g., Jenzabar, JRM, etc.) is a plus.
