|Classroom Schedules and Resources|
Most of our students enjoy the small evening classes because they are able to receive the one-on-one attention they deserve. The average evening class size is about 16 students. The small classes offer more opportunities for class participation and individual attention.
The Extended Campus Evening Classroom program divides the calendar year into six sessions, each lasting eight weeks. One or two courses are completed in eight weeks using a hybrid model, allowing students to complete a degree in four years for a bachelor’s degree or two years for an associate’s degree. Students may complete their degrees sooner, depending on transfer credit.
Classes usually meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings each week face-to-face and once a week online. Each evening class session meets for an hour and a half, for a total of 16 sessions. At some sites, courses are also offered Monday and Wednesday nights.
Classes are offered at South Carolina sites in Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Gaffney, Greer, Kingstree, Lowcountry (Yemassee), and Aiken.
