Student Kiosk

A link to the Student Kiosk is at the top of your LC portal. It can be used to

  • Change your Network Password (LC Portal, Email, Blackboard). You can reset your password to the default password (student’s 9-digit Social Security Number) in the event that your password has been forgotten. Changing your password is required every 180 days to ensure your information is secure.
  • Order official transcripts.
  • Acquire an Enrollment Verification from the Federal Financial Aid Clearinghouse (used for loan deferment). Enrollment verification is a statement verifying that a student is enrolled in classes during a given term. Enrollment verifications will indicate whether the student is enrolled as a part-time, half-time or full-time student and for which terms he/she was enrolled. Enrollment verifications are processed through the National Student Clearinghouse and can be accessed via Student Kiosk. Enrollment Verifications serve as proof of your status as a student. Insurance companies, loan agencies, federal financial aid (used for loan deferment), and other organizations may require a verification in order for you to be eligible for certain benefits.

How to change your password

>1. Log into the Student Kiosk with your last name and Social Security Number

 

>2. Select the link to reset password to SSN or new password

>3. Enter new password. The new password will update in approximately twenty minutes.
